Distraction

Cause we all need a little distraction

Random Monday

So, instead of watching the Super Bowl, I watched the commercials and half-time show on YouTube!!  Out of all the commercials, I have to say this one was my favorite.  If you’re an 80s and early 90s kid, you will like this little homage to a classic movie!!

I also have to say that the half-time show that Madonna put on was very good.  Much better than last years!!  Didn’t care for her latest song, but it was really cool to hear some of her older songs and have Nicki Minaj, MIA, LMFAO and Cee Lo Green add some of their own talents to the show.

The End of the World

What does it mean, the world ending? There are so many ways our world could end. It could just go boom and completely become a pile of dust. Mother nature could cause massive natural disasters. Machines could take over the world and annihilate the human race. Same could happen with aliens. We could all become zombie vampires. A comet could collide with us. A virus could wipe us all out. There could be a devastating war between our nations. Or, the world as we know it could become non-existent.

Here’s the thing. Unless there is a secret society of people who feel like they have the right to control the world and want to bring about the end of it, we as a race of people are not going to know when the world is going to truly end. And if it does end, is there anything that we can really do to prevent it?

The way I see it, if the world is going to end, it’s going to end. If it doesn’t, then it won’t. Don’t worry about if it’s going to end, but live each day as best you can and live for tomorrow. Just try to live your life to the fullest in hopes that on Dec. 22, 2012, you will still be here in the world that we know and love.

Do I believe that the world is gonna end: No clue.  I don’t think we are supposed to know if the world is going to end or not.  All I know is that I’m not going to be one of those people who is going to freak out about it and make a big deal out of it.  If the world is going to be completely destroyed, there’s nothing we can do to stop it.  So, I will live my life as I normal as possible, maybe post a goodbye on Facebook (just in case), and see what comes on Dec. 21st.  In the meantime, I will probably joke around about the end of the world (as evidence of my countdown) and just sit back and enjoy this year to the best of my ability. I just hope people will do the same.
